Account deletion
Delete your InMover account
Choose the app you use: InMover Relocation (customers who book moves) or InMover Driver (movers who deliver services). Follow the steps below for your app.
InMover Relocation app
For customers who book moving and relocation services.
Delete some of your data (without deleting your account)
You can remove individual trusted contacts without closing your account.
- Open the InMover Relocation app and sign in.
- Go to Account (or Profile) → Safety → Trusted contacts.
- Tap the delete option for the contact you want to remove. That contact’s data is deleted from our systems; your account stays active.
How to delete your full account in the app
- Open the InMover Relocation app.
- Go to Settings (or Profile / Account).
- Find Delete Account and tap it.
- Confirm to permanently remove your account.
What happens to your data
- Deleted: Profile (name, email, phone), auth data, preferences, orders, trusted contacts, notifications, saved promo codes, uploaded photos/documents.
- Removed on device: App cache and stored credentials.
- Retained (legal/compliance): Completed move records, invoices, and payment receipts may be kept as required by law for up to 90 days or as needed; they are no longer linked to an active account.
InMover Driver app
For movers and drivers who provide moving services. Account deletion works the same as in the Relocation app and uses the same backend.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the InMover Driver app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account (in the menu list).
- Confirm in the dialog to permanently remove your account.
What happens to your data
- Deleted: Profile (name, email, phone), auth data, preferences, orders/jobs, wallet balance, and related profile information.
- Removed on device: App cache and stored credentials.
- Retained (legal/compliance): Completed job records, invoices, and payment receipts may be kept as required by law for up to 90 days or as needed; they are no longer linked to an active account.

If you cannot access the app or have questions about what will be removed, email support@inmover.co.ke with your registered email or phone number and say whether you use the Relocation or Driver app.
